This is the 11th video in a series of 21 by Dr Vincent Knight of Cardiff University. In addition to including mathematics within a sentence, we can display equations and formulae on their own. In this tutorial we see how to write simple equations, and introduce the commands \frac for fractions and \sum for summations.
