Sometimes, fonts can appear to be distorted or rendered incorrectly in the PDF viewer. If everything is correct in the code, the font should still appear correctly in the downloaded PDF file.

To resolve the problem of fonts not displaying correctly, please try the following:

  1. Ensure that your browser zoom is set to 100% or "actual size."
  2. Use the Overleaf PDF viewer's zoom controls to adjust the zoom on the displayed PDF as described here.

If the issue persists, please try changing the PDF viewer from Overleaf to Browser using the instructions found here.
